Field & Vine's experience is deep and diverse. Chef Pascal headed a successful catering company and cooking school in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years, including having worked on large events for AutoDesk and other local corporations, weddings, and celebrations. His thirty years of experience in upscale and neighborhood restaurants has solidified his culinary expertise first garnered in France at the Ecole Hoteliere de Bordeaux. He brings this experience to each of his farm and vineyard dinners, perfecting each plate as if it were his own, and expects nothing less from his staff.

These are teaching dinners, where Field & Vine lets you into the secret world of the restaurant and food industry. Lean in and learn from the best, at private homes for demo dinners, secrets of the industry revealed, for any occasion, including rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, and other fetes.
These special events are Field & Vine's passion.
At each Dinner in the Field, you'll arrive on your own, or in Field & Vine's timeless school bus. Then warm earth underfoot, and the sweet scent of the season lingering in the air. Glass in hand, and wine tickling your taste buds, you'll stroll through the vineyard or farm, guided by the winemaker or farmer's expert hand and tales from the vine and root.
You'll wander back to the long community tables, placed center perfect in the field, candles and wine glasses glimmering in the late evening sun. Relaxing into each of the six courses expertly prepared by Field & Vine and sip from the wines of Oregon, you'll taste the native ingredients of the Northwest, sourced as often as possible straight from the host farm or surrounding farms.
